  DIWALI ROASTED GRAM BURFY SWEET Items Required Roasted Gram dal = 1 cup Cardamom = 2 Coconut crated = 1 small cup Sugar = 1 small cup Ghee = As required Baking soda Method of Preparation 1. Powder the roasted gram dal and elachi and keep aside. 2. In a kadai add sugar and water and make sugar syrup. 3. Add rasted gram powder little by little and mix it well. 4. Add ghee as required. 5. When you get halwa type add coconut crater and mix well. 6. Add some baking soda. 7. In a plate apply ghee or oil. 8. Put the boiling mix and flatten the surface in the plate. 9. After cooling cut the mix into pieces.     DIWALI KARA SEVU ITEMS REQUIRED 1. Bengal gram dal flour = 1 cup 2. Rice flour = 1/2 cup 3. Butter = 1 spoon 4. Chilli powder = 1/2 spoon 5. Salt = as required 6. Omam a bit 7. Asoefatida = As required 8. Curry Leaves 9. Oil Method of Preparation 1. In a vessel add gram flour, rice flour, butter, salt, chilli powder, omam, asofatida powdere and mix well. 2. Add water little by little and mix it well. 3. Add some oil and mix it and make as dough. 4. In a kadai, pour oil and head in low flame. 5. In siever vessel press the dough so that it will drop in oil. 6. Alternatively you can use murukku achu for doing this. 7. When bubbles stop take out from oil. Tasty, hotty kara sevu is ready.! IN A HEATING VESSEL PUT CRATED JAGGARY, WATER AND MIX WELL. 2. FILTER IT TO REMOVE ANY IMPURITIES. 3. IN A KADAI ADD GHEE, AND FRY CASHEW NUTS, DRY GRAPES AND KEEP ASIDE. 4. SAME VESSEL ADD GHEE FURTHER AND ADD MAIDA. 5. ADD JAGGARY MIX WATER INTO IT LITTLE BY LITTLE. 6. MIX WELL ADD HOT WATER IF REQUIRED. 7. WITHOUT ANY BUBBLES MIX FINELY. 8.        DIWALI KARA BOONDHI ITEMS REQUIRED 1. Bengal gram dal flour = 1 cup 2. Rice flour = 1/2 cup 3. Butter = 1 spoon 4. Chilli powder = 1/2 spoon 5. Salt = as required 6. Asoefatida = As required 7. Curry Leaves 8. Garlic = 10 9. Groundnut = 1/4 cup 10. Roasted gram = a bit 11. Oil METHOD OF PREPARATION 1. In a vessel add gram flour, rice flour, butter, salt, chilli powder, asofatida powdere and mix well. 2. Add water little by little and mix it well. 3. Add more water and make the batter as watery as for dosa. 4. Keep oil in kadai and heat it in low flame. 5. Take laddle with holes (jalli karandi) and pour the batter so that it flows as bubbles in the oil. 6. When oil bubble stops we can take it out and keep in a vessel. 7. Fry groundnut in oil. 8. Fry curry leaves. 9. Fry garlic. 10.Add all into the bhoondhi and mix well. 11. Add salt and chilli powder if required. Tasty, hotty kara bhoondhi is ready for this diwali!
