  TASTY BADUSHA FOR DIWALI Items Required Sugar = 3/4 cup Maida = 1 cup Cardamom powder = As required Butter = 1 1/2 spoon Salt = 1 pinch. Baking powder = 1/2 spoon Milk = As required. Method of Preparation 1. In a vessel put maida, salt, baking powder, 1 spoon sugar, butter and hand mix well. 2. Pour milk little by little and  mix well. The dough should be thicker than the one which for chappati making. 3. Keep soaked for 10-15 minutes. 4. In a kadai put sugar and water and make sugar syrup. Add cardamom powder. 5. Add 5 to 10 drops of lemon juice as thinner. 6. Make the dough into small balls. 7. Take one ball, press it in the centre using index finger. 8. Do the same many times from sidewards to centre. 9. In a kadai, put oil and keep it for low flame. 10. Put the prepared flatened dough and fry it well. 11. While frying keep the flame low. 12. Then take it and soak in the sugar syrup. Keep for 10 minutes and take out. 13. If syrup is thicker you can heat it. 14. Tasty home made diw
